Ces prévisions météo heure par heure dites "automatiques" sont issues d'une sortie brute des calculateurs, sans être retravaillées et expertisées par nos prévisionnistes (dernier scénario du modèle américain GFS dont les données sont réactualisées toutes les 6h). L'utilisation de ces prévisions météo est intéressante si vous avez besoin de consulter une commune située en-dehors des zones de météo expertisée que nous gérons (Londres, Bruxelles, Lille, Rouen, Paris, Metz, Genève, Lyon, Annecy, Chambéry, Grenoble, Chamrousse, Nice, Marseille, Montpellier, Toulouse, Biarritz, Bordeaux, Nantes). Attention car ces prévisions doivent être corrigées en zones montagneuses et littorales car il s'agit d'une moyenne sur un carré de 25 km de coté. D'autre part, gardez un certain recul sur la précision temporelle au-delà de deux ou trois jours car ces prévisions peuvent sensiblement évoluer, notamment lorsque le temps est perturbé.

L’anticyclone qui s’installe actuellement sur le Sud de la Scandinavie étend son influence sur une bonne partie de la France. La réactivité et le professionnalisme font de meteo-lyon.net le premier site météo pour Lyon et sa région. Si les prévisions météo à 7 jours gratuites sont souvent automatisées sur internet, ce n’est pas le cas de meteo-lyon.net qui bénéficie de l’expertise de météorologistes rivés en permanence sur la situation météo. Le site propose également une tendance météo à plus long terme et un véritable portail météo pour la région Rhône-Alpes avec la météo en temps réel (carte des précipitations et des nuages, graphiques des stations météo, webcams, cartes d’observations et phénomènes météo importants) et la climatologie (bilans climatologiques réguliers, climat de la région lyonnaise, records et moyennes quotidiennes des températures à Lyon). Mais le site va encore au-delà… Utilisez-le comme outil de recherche pour le monde entier grâce (via meteo-paris.com) à une compilation des principaux liens météo sur internet et à une banque de données unique et gratuite sur les évènements météo du passé (chronique et almanach). N’oubliez pas non plus les tableaux mensuels des aléas climatiques en France.
